Join us for the Perth Symposium

Interest rates are now at their highest level in more than a decade, but central banks are yet to declare victory over inflation. Jobs markets remain tight and consumer spending resilient, although there are tentative signs we are on the cusp of greater economic weakness. As Australian households and businesses prepare for an extended period of higher borrowing costs, many are asking if it will be possible to get inflation under control without a recession.

We are delighted to invite you to join us for the 2023 LGT Crestone Symposium, featuring keynote speaker Glenn Stevens AC, Australia’s longest-serving Governor of The Reserve Bank of Australia. Among other things, Mr Stevens will offer his perspective on inflation and the outlook for interest rates. Following the keynote address, Scott Haslem, Chief Investment Officer at LGT Crestone, will provide an update on the Australian and global macro-economic environment and how LGT Crestone is positioning portfolios for the period ahead.

Mr Haslem will be joined by a selection of alternatives panellists including Michael Lukin, Managing Partner, Roc Partners; Marigold Look, Executive Director, Infrastructure, IFM and Bob Sahota, Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer, Revolution Asset Management. Our panellists will provide their views on investing in private equity, infrastructure and private credit - outlining where they see the greatest investment opportunities and risks over the coming period.

We hope you can join us for what should be an interesting and interactive event
