Following the successful recent close of the Roc Private Investment Fund II (RPIF II) , we have now launched the Roc Private Opportunities Fund (the Fund) to enable new investors, or those under-allocated to domestic private equity, to build their exposures in a diversified fashion. Whilst the Fund can be utilised as a core private equity position, the Fund is designed to be opportunistic and take advantage of anticipated secondary deal activity arising from structural factors impacting the local superannuation industry, in addition to capacity in select high quality co-investment deal flow. Whilst the Fund's focus will be on secondary (LP stake and continuation vehicles) and co-investments opportunities, the Fund will also provide a smaller exposure (up to 25%) to primary funds relative to the RPIF series. The Fund ultimately offers our investors exposures to some of Australia’s leading private equity managers, many of which are very hard to access and/or capacity constrained.
