In July 2022 LGTCrestone launched the Brown Advisory Global Leaders Model, a strategy that seeks to outperform the FTSE All World Index over a full market cycle (3-5 years) by targeting high quality companies with a high and sustainable return on invested capital (ROIC), priced at a discount to intrinsic value.

Brown Advisory believes that high quality companies that deliver superior outcomes for customers will generate attractive economics.

The investment team takes a style agnostic approach but focuses on quality, leaning the portfolio towards growth currently. The portfolio is concentrated and high conviction in nature, typically holding between 30-40 stocks.

Brown Advisory is a privately owned global investment management firm with approximately USD 150bn in assets under management. The firm employs over 800 employees worldwide, of which over 70 are investment professionals with an average of 15-years industry experience. The firm has built a strong asset management business, with core expertise in US equities. On the back of their US equity success, Brown Advisory launched the Global Leaders strategy (the Strategy) in 2015, leveraging their experienced team, strong process and research.
